OUR
HISTORY
The legacy of Mooring and the Mooring family is one built on getting the job done right for nearly 70 years. And in that time, we’ve established ourselves as a fiscally secure leader within the industry, known for our excellent work in restoration and construction.
Our family started our journey in restoration as a home cleaning business in 1948. Our grandfather’s can-do attitude and drive for perfection could be seen even in those early days with our motto, “If the customer wanted it cleaned, we could clean it.”
In 1967, we showed that we understood new technology and how to use it to truly make a difference in our customers’ lives when, on a commercial level, we worked with inventor Bill Wisdom to develop a new cleaning process, which involved shooting high-pressure, vaporized water onto carpet, immediately followed by a vacuum — the process now widely known as steam-cleaning. Our family continued to be an industry leader and pioneer in the restoration space.
In 1980-81, we were awarded our first two cleaning jobs for major corporations when back-to-back fires broke out at the MGM Hotel and Casino and the Hilton in Las Vegas. As part of our comprehensive solution to these fires, we utilized our recently-developed cleaning process that allowed these hotels to clean their air ducts rather than replace them, saving significant cost and time in their restoration.
In 2005, we brought our rich family history and passion for restoration and construction together under the banner of Mooring USA with one thing in mind — create a superior experience for each and every one of our customers.
