Following Hurricane Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda, Vidor ISD was left with catastrophic damage to seven schools and administrative buildings. Vidor ISD reached out to Mooring Disaster Restoration as water levels from Hurricane Harvey were still rising. The following day, Mooring had boots on the ground in the district and began providing emergency services including water extraction, drying, contents cleaning, and HVAC decontamination. After successfully restoring the damaged property, Mooring and Vidor ISD have continued to work together to address ongoing restoration needs.
