When Hurricane Ida made landfall on August 26th, 2021 Mooring Disaster Restoration teams mobilized ahead of the storm to assist with preparations and recovery. This Category 4 hurricane affected southwest Louisiana, causing wind damage to buildings and catastrophic storm surge damage for the communities in its path. Mooring continued to mobilize teams to support the hurricane recovery efforts up to a year following the storm.

It’s Christmas morning at 10:00. I received a call that water is pouring out of the front of my school. Turns out a frozen water pipe had broken and been dumping water for 24 hours.
