When the Fountain-Fort Carson ISD suffered significant hail damage to its facilities, it turned to Mooring Disaster Restoration to serve as the Reconstruction and Quality Assurance Manager, and Insurance Agency Representative and Coordinator. The extensive project spanned 18 buildings, including 1.073 million sqft of roofing and 1.4 million sqft of interior space. The work was done over a 16-month period, while school was in session with 10,000 students and staff members. The Mooring performance was noteworthy enough to have the insurance carrier ask us to perform similar work for other schools in the area.
