Position

The ES Billing Specialist works to empower the Emergency Services department through working closely with the local and CAT ES Operations teams in daily tasks and ongoing initiatives. The ES Billing Specialist must possess advanced computer skills. This position requires the ability to work in a demanding environment and to deal with stressful situations with resourcefulness and initiative. The ideal candidate is a people-smart leader who will contribute to the process of improvement and overall organization of the office. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the ES Operations team, both local and National, and ensure daily tasks are being met along with other numerous responsibilities.

Essential Functions

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and/or T&M Pro software for estimating and invoicing T&M losses.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager both on and off jobsite locations.
  • Assist as needed to arrange travel for CAT team, including requesting per diem.
  • Data entry (allocation) of all materials and equipment used per project in Acumatica, as needed.
  • Receive and process required job paperwork to include crew sheets, equipment sheets, and material sheets. Ensure all paperwork is reviewed and approved daily.
  • Daily data entry of crew member’s time into ADP for payroll processing, as needed.
  • Organize and maintain job folder with all job documentation for invoicing.
  • Assist the Project Manager with temporary labor, including reviewing and approving of daily crew sheets and vendor invoices.
  • Regular job cost analysis for enhanced job profitability.
  • Ensure the correct and accurate T&M pricing is utilized on each project.
  • Ability to travel anywhere within the continental U.S. at any given moment.
  • Ability to be away from “home” for extended periods of time.
  • Work closely with the Mooring Emergency Services team to establish and maintain helpful support.

Position
The Construction Accountant works to empower our construction and operations by working closely with Construction Project Managers, Estimators, and Superintendents in daily tasks and ongoing initiatives. The primary responsibilities of this role are to work closely with the Operations and Project Management team in managing project budgets, payables, receivables, subcontracts, purchase orders, and financial closeout requirements. Essential Functions

  • Work hours as needed in order to meet project deadlines and in the event of emergency services projects.
  • Subcontractors- proper assembly and distribution for execution all subcontractor and vendor agreements for assigned projects. Managing those commitments into the ERP system. Responsible for document storage.
  • Project startup- take the lead on new project setup, which includes but is not limited to
    • Gatekeeper for prime contract routing, execution, and storage
    • Project information setup into ERP system
    • Loading project budget into ERP system
    • Setup project folder and document control workflows
  • Change orders- Enter and post owner and subcontractor change orders into the ERP system.  Route documents for execution as needed. Responsible for document storage.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field preferred
  • 3-5 years minimum equivalent experience performing verifiable experience in document coordination and office administration required

Position
This is a key position within our organization that will require travelling anywhere in the U.S. at a moment’s notice.  This individual must work closely with many other professionals and is responsible for directing, managing, and achieving operational objectives, while representing the company professionally. The Catastrophe Restoration Department requires a rapid response to mobilize in support of disaster events.

Essential Functions

  • Be available 24/7, 365 days, to mobilize immediately to a potential loss anywhere in the U.S.
  • Maintain all Mooring CAT trailers, equipment, materials, and supplies to mobilize to a loss.
  • Assist the local office with any potential large loss projects or as directed by Management.
  • Conduct or assist a site visit/walk-through meeting with the insured, adjuster, consultants, or decision-maker.
  • Once an agreement is negotiated, an authorization signature is needed before mobilization, and a detailed scope of work will be provided within 48 hours.
  • Conduct or assist with identifying and writing the scope of work to determine the estimated cost and total projected loss.
  • Identify all potential safety hazards and if permits are needed for the project.
  • Coordinate mobilization of employees, temporary labor, materials, and equipment required to commence a project. Timing is critical.
  • According to the Mooring USA Time and Material Rate Schedule, identify key personnel responsibilities, and determine the labor class for every employee.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business or Construction Management (or equivalent on the job training)
  • Experience in mitigation and construction practice

Functional Organizational Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role to keep accurate records of the company’s outstanding bills associated with projects and other daily operations.  He/she works alongside the AP Supervisor as the point through whom all invoices due to suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, employees, and service providers must pass to be posted into the company’s financial records.

Qualifications
  • Two or four-year degree in Construction Management preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years direct lead experience in commercial construction experience
  • Project sizes range from $300,000 to $10,000,000. These range from tenant improvement to small ground up construction.
  • Expert knowledge in the means and methods of construction
  • Proven track record of successful accomplishment in all phases of supervision
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction (MEP, finishes, envelope)
  • Excellent planning, schedule management, and project site logistics management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office and project management software
  • Demonstrated work ethic and leadership skills

About Mooring Construction

Position
This position will be responsible for developing business within the assigned regional area.  Target markets include:
  • Large footprint – national retail
  • Commercial real estate/property management (office and industrial)
  • K-12 education, higher education, municipal government, county government
  • Independent, large loss adjusters
Essential Functions
  • Plan and complete field sales & marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary market research
  • Develop robust knowledge of all Company products/services
  • Coordinate with marketing for various literature, signage, merchandise and other materials
  • Promote business expansion opportunities to key identified account sectors.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and events with sales and marketing staff.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Report activities daily, weekly, monthly through customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Track approved expenses in an organized fashion.
  • Document and share market intelligence with sales and marketing team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 5+ years successful external field sales experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
  • Executive presence.
  • Loyal and dependable.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Responsible and task driven.
  • Adaptable to change, multidimensional.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
