Position
The Large Loss Project Administrator works to empower the Emergency Services department through working closely with the CAT Operations team in daily tasks and ongoing initiatives. The Large Loss Project Administrator must possess advanced computer skills and the ability to work in a demanding fast-paced environment . The ideal candidate is a people-smart leader who will contribute to the process improvement and overall organization of the office. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the CAT Operations team and ensure daily tasks are being met along with other numerous responsibilities. Essential Functions

- Receive and process required job paperwork to include crew sheets, equipment sheets, and material sheets. Ensure all paperwork is reviewed and approved daily.
- Daily data entry of crew member’s time into SAGE for payroll processing.
- Organize and maintain job folder with all job documentation for invoicing.
- Assist the Project Manager with temporary labor, including reviewing and approving of daily crew sheets and vendor invoices.
- Regular job cost analysis for enhanced job profitability.
- Ensure the correct and accurate T&M pricing is utilized on each project.

Primary Responsibilities
- Emergency response, mitigation, and cleanup of properties damaged by fire, water, and mold.
- Technicians will be required to do the demolition and tearing down sheetrock, pulling carpet, hauling trash and debris, etc.
- Any prior experience in mitigation work including structural drying, maintaining drying logbooks, setting up equipment, water extraction, etc. is strongly preferred.
- 24-hour Emergency Mitigation Services are offered so this position will carry a rotating, weekly on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend work. Must be flexible to work any time of day and any day of the week when on call.

- Material Procurement- complete ownership of this process
- Reviews product data sheets/shop drawings against contract documents (plans, specifications, and specific subcontract language) for accuracy and correctness. Verify quantities and location when applicable.
- Ensures that items are submitted, reviewed, approved, and released in a timeframe that supports the project schedule.
- Creates and manages a complete submittal log/register that includes all required components complete with expected dates that coordinate with master construction schedule.
- Verifies production status of items as needed. This could include phone evidence, written evidence, site visits, factory visits, storage facility visits, extensive phone calls and/or emails.
- Works with the field staff, investigate, compose, and electronically issue RFIs to the design team. Ensure that the RFI is worded correctly, concise, and accurate.

- MEP subcontractors get all document updates, no exceptions. Becomes the master of knowing what is in the project and in the documents. Becomes a master at reviewing and authoring RFIs
- Reviews subcontractor billings and change requests with the project management team.
- Assists project managers in reviewing change requests against documents and verifying validity of those requests.
- Project Closeout
- Manages, distributes, and executes punch lists as needed
- Archives project files from Procore onto network drive
- Completes project document closeout requirements with architect and owners
- Manages attic stock delivery and turnover
- Documents and (sometimes) attends owner training sessions as required

Position
The Project Engineer will be based in our Grand Prairie location. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while dealing with stressful situations with resourcefulness and initiative. The ideal candidate is a people-smart leader who will contribute to the process improvement and overall organization of the office. The nature of the work demands maturity, courtesy, tact, professionalism, a sense of urgency, confidentiality, technical skills, and interpersonal skills. The Project Engineer will be exposed to every aspect of the construction process and will become a subject matter expert on all construction and emergency services office and team coordination as it applies to them. Essential Functions
- Material Procurement- complete ownership of this process
- Reviews product data sheets/shop drawings against contract documents (plans, specifications, and specific subcontract language) for accuracy and correctness. Verify quantities and location when applicable.
- Ensures that items are submitted, reviewed, approved, and released in a timeframe that supports the project schedule.
- Creates and manages a complete submittal log/register that includes all required components complete with expected dates that coordinate with master construction schedule.
- Verifies production status of items as needed. This could include phone evidence, written evidence, site visits, factory visits, storage facility visits, extensive phone calls and/or emails.
- Works with the field staff, investigate, compose, and electronically issue RFIs to the design team. Ensure that the RFI is worded correctly, concise, and accurate.
- Document control – complete ownership of this process. Keeps all electronic files posted and up to date
- RFI responses
- As built measurements and conditions
- Updated documents from the design team (CPRs, ASIs, PCs, etc.)
- Revised details via submittal information
- Field modifications
- Keeps specifications posted with accepted substitutes or other changes
- Maintains project site record documents (paper hard copies) in the same fashion as electronic documents. Typically, these are the documents that the subcontractor field staff looks at.
- Distribution of document updates from the design team (RFIs, ASIs, PCs, etc.)
- Uses the change transmittals and verifies all affected parties receive the information
- Follows up and chases down pricing and no cost responses as needed, coordinating with the Project Manager , distributes to subcontractor field staff (paper mailboxes or electronically)
- MEP subcontractors get all document updates, no exceptions. Becomes the master of knowing what is in the project and in the documents. Becomes a master at reviewing and authoring RFIs
- Reviews subcontractor billings and change requests with the project management team.
- Assists project managers in reviewing change requests against documents and verifying validity of those requests.
- Project Closeout
- Manages, distributes, and executes punch lists as needed
- Archives project files from Procore onto network drive
- Completes project document closeout requirements with architect and owners
- Manages attic stock delivery and turnover
- Documents and (sometimes) attends owner training sessions as required
- Uses transmittals to document all information and product transmissions. Gets signatures on sensitive items. (Submittals, samples, closeout items, etc.)
- Performs jobsite safety walks and complete inspection form
- Takes jobsite photos frequently. These should be specific photos that coordinate with milestone phases of the project (in wall inspections, exterior flashing, finished product, etc.)
- Assists superintendents in doing layout and dimensional verifications
- Participates in schedule updates and subcontractor meetings. Handles action items as needed.
- Maintains and distributes OAC, Staff, and Preconstruction meeting minutes for the project
- Reads and understands contract and specification requirements for the following
- Submittal log/registration requirements (numbering system, review times, etc.)
- RFI procedures
- Substitution procedures
- Submittal package requirements
- Pre-Construction meeting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- Computer knowledge and efficiency\
- Effective at building collaborative relationships
- Demonstrated work ethic
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

Position
The Restoration Crew Lead / Supervisor is responsible for directing, managing, and achieving operational objectives while representing the company in a professional capacity to ensure proper name branding. Responsible for the successful completion and safety of all operational duties throughout the project. Projects can last several weeks, even months, and may require you to work on weekends, nights, and through significant holidays. One must be available to travel to a potential loss anywhere in the U.S. and have the ability to work long consecutive days without a scheduled day off, usually until the project is complete. The Large Loss Catastrophe and Local Operations Departments require an immediate response at a moment’s notice throughout the year. To accomplish the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential functions satisfactorily.
Essential Functions
- Be available to mobilize immediately to a potential loss anywhere in the U.S.
- You will be required to be on a monthly on-call rotation and be able to report a loss of no more than one hour to the warehouse and two hours or less to the job site. You may also be asked to report during an off-call situation if the project requires or as directed by management.
- Be knowledgeable in multiple services we provide through education, specialized training, and industry experience.
- Must have the ability to motivate a diverse group of strangers (temporary labor) into a cohesive team to perform the task at hand and the ability to get maximum results in a minimum amount of time. Zero tolerance is strictly enforced. Those who do not follow will be removed from the project.
- Self-control and professionalism throughout the project, treat everyone with respect.
- Adhere to company and safety standards, and follow OSHA and EPA regulations.
- To maintain the company image and appearance, each employee will be held to a higher standard and professionalism on behavior before, during, and after hours.
- Each person will be held accountable for their actions, and strict nightly curfews are set for Mooring employees traveling due to out-of-town projects established by the company.
- Familiarize yourself with the job site and know where off-limits areas, restrooms, parking, and line-up will be located; pay attention to high-risk areas as safety is a top priority.
- Attend morning meetings to receive daily assignments, work areas, and safety concerns.
- Obtain all PPE, necessary tools, materials, and supplies staged at your work location before the labor is assigned to you.
- Prepare labor for LINE-UP, keep your assigned labor quiet in a straight, single-file line directly behind you.
- Write down names of labor you will be responsible for during the shift, stay with your crew at all times, or you may experience disciplinary action as a result of unsupervised teams.
- Inform the Project Manager of missing labor during each line-up, and use the three-check system to assure attendance throughout the shift. (1-morning break 1- Lunch 1- afternoon break)
- Advise crew members to watch their language; standing around and loitering will not be tolerated, and slow or uncooperative people will be replaced.
- Enter and exit the work area in a single file line, keeping track of everyone you are responsible for throughout the day.
- Conduct quality control (QC) measures throughout your assigned work area. Take the time to check everyone’s work before you are assigned a new task.
- Keep detailed notes throughout the day of work assignments, completion of areas, and track material consumption and equipment usage. This is a critical part of the accounting, and all entries must be detailed, legible, and accurate.
- DO NOT BE LATE for any line-up meetings. It’s your responsibility to gather your labor after breaks and lunches. Tardiness can result in the removal of the project or termination.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company planning, strategies, and information.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in restoration industry, including both Fire and Water mitigation a plus
- Must be able to work long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold
- Must be able to respond to service calls after-hours and during inclement weather
- Must have ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form
- Requires a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
